This is a Nobile Dendrobium hybrid developed my Yamamoto 2015. All Nobile are deciduous. They only flower once they have lost the leaves on a cane. In nature the original plant could survive temps from 0-degrees to over 100. They would go from months of monsoon rain to desert conditions for months. These usually flower in early spring.
