These are large very fragrant flowers. It looks very similar to its parent Cyc. chlorochilum. Like all Catasetum they are perennials. They look dead after flowering and begin to grow again in the spring to early summer, flowering around October to January. It is a hybrid of Taiwan Gold and Cyc. warscewiczii. Color is predominately yellow but can shift toward the burnt orange of Taiwan Gold.
