Flowers are silver dollar size and display in clusters at the end of a long spikes. Exaltata is much smaller than other Myrmechophia. Many of these have already flowered. We suggest that division be planted in a pot of sphagnum for 6-8 months. They can double in size in that time. Then they can be mounted or anyway else you want to grow them. Mounting them on arrival will take 12-18 months to get that large. These are two bulb divisions of plants that may be 20-25 years old. Myrmechophia can grow easily from a single bulb division unlike Cattleya that want to be at least 3 bulb divisions.
