E. tempensis is a native florida orchid plentiful from Tampa through the Florida Keys. It is a miniature only 4-6 inches high. It has a round pseudobulb like a large marble and leaves and flowers growing out the top of that. Normally flowering in March to June, you can see thousands of them on the Peace River near us. This is E. tempensis var alba. The standard form is brown with a little pink in the lip.
