Taca intergrifloria - the White Bat is about as exotic as you can get. These are in 3-inch pots. We have recently received from our tissue lab. It produces 6-8-inch flowers on a tall spike. The plant can grow over 2 feet tall the first year. If planted in Dec-Feb, it usually flowers the second year. The leaves very seldom get to be over 3-feet, but the plant can grow to expand into a very large clump of flowers. It grows best in shade. Unlike orchids which should be planted in the smallest pot possible, these can be potted in whatever size pot you want for final its final size. They need 8" or larger pots when full grown to avoid falling over in wind. These plants like shade and to be keep damp in loose soil. They will die if allowed to totally dry out.
