Our favorite Oncidium intergeneric. Dark maroon flowers with speckling throughout. The are 3-4 in flowers on a long efflorescence. Worthy of admiration in anyone's collection. For a year our grower produced flowers that were more pink. Flowers that are darker and more purple are a more popular coloration. This year they are all the darker type. Why? They are the same plants now being grown in a different greenhouse. It proves how light, water and fertilizer can shift the color of an orchid (within limits).
