This is a miniature Myrmechophia, which flowers on plants as small as 4 inches. Flower spikes are usually 10-20 inches. It is native to the Grand Cayman Islands, where it is their national flower. Exports from the Grand Caymans are restricted. This is the first time we have had these flowers in 8 years. These are laboratory grown in Taiwan so it does not impact the native population. We have had so many of these bloom already this year, we expect most to bloom with in a year.
